Structure Failure: Identifying Causes & Remedial Measure

The building is located in Mangalore near coastal area. The visual observation is done in the building to know the distresses in the elements and to locate the positions in the drawing. STAAD pro software is used to gain the results of the structural capacity of distressed elements that needs to be repaired. By performing the calculation the capacity of the damaged elements & the repair methodologies were suggested. The bill of quantity is made in accordance of the results obtained. Different repaired methodologies are suggested in this report, like providing extra steel, jacketing, FRP application & patchwork.
