“up growth” - A community development project

Site is a huge hub for small vendors who are working since a long period . This area of Ahmedabad was known for it’s pol area. The retail shops in the area have been running since various generations. As it is an old part of the city, the people living and working there, specially the elderly are not well connected with the modern technology of services. Community clubs run events that offer social activities and a chance to catch up with friends locally. The objective is to create a space for these old people where they could gather in their breaks or free time and do some activities together, and enjoy their free time. Along with various activities like library, lounge,Learning base workshops, online banking, computer learning, entertainment spaces and game room, a space for information related to the use of technology in our day to day lives can be given or taught to the old people that struggle through it.
