Architecture studio space has its dignity and should have an environment where one can disconnect from all the distractions and work with their full concentration. In cept, studio are floating and informal activities can take on the grounf floor(sagra basement). In the existing unit, load bearing brick wll sits massively on the ground with the wooden roof above. Contrasting to that the light studio are floating baove the ground and growing out from the wooden roof.
