THE SEEKING TURTLE_An Auditorium(SITE: Municipal Market)

A conscious approach to the new proposal has been made that it maintains functional flexibility, spatial openness and publicness of the site. As one pedestrian passer-by passes on the footpath, starts moving in the site. Then one find peripheral vehicular access which leads to basement city parking and to the main foyer of some function which is happening beneath the plaza. The central plaza is fully pedestrian and it contains peripheral shops (most active space), front informal stage (exhibiting city’s culture), central green patch (greenery and multiple pause points) and delicate foyer of the auditorium at the end.
