Located by the lake edge in Udaipur this house resides a family of three - Usha, Abhimanyu and their daughter. Along with the residential spaces this house also accommodates Usha's hobby of pickle making. Ten years later, Usha decides to turn her hobby into a domestic enterprise and hence an extension of the residence is made to cater to the needs of the pickle making business as well as a space for the daughter. These spaces respond and interact with the immediate contexts of the lake, the inner and outer streets of the city of Udaipur.
