EXPRESSIVE - A Connection of the Contrary

Not all people are expressive in communicating their ideas and thoughts to others. They are often thought of as a quiet, reserved, and thoughtful individual. They don’t seek out special attention or social engagements. The idea is to create a space with no social boundaries, a space where there is no sense of a stage and audience, where one would feel free to express themselves. A space which can act as a thread tying the different communities living near the chosen site. A program that not only connects the people of the localities, but also lets people of the country to get acquainted with culture, lifestyle and trade of the city. As the design represents the idea of connecting different communities, the program is developed for the co-working of several classes of the society. A program where the continuous process of give and take will occur providing benefit to each and every community using the space.
