Mumbai as a city lacks public spaces and with a number of developments coming up various gated communities are taking over open spaces which are considered to be grounds of contemplation, interaction and relaxation. Taking inspiration from the paradox of the city character, the intervention aims to provide spaces of engagement, which are a celebration of the city, to a state of idleness, simulating personal memories, giving a sense of realization of whats left behind in a persons ongoing pursuits. A focus on the absent present, in a city which never sleeps.
