Feasibility of Adoption of E-Rickshaws, Pune

Electric Mobility (EM) is gaining traction, due to the alignment of technological advancements, and their benefits towards the achievement of global climate goals. With the technology in its infancy, the advantages are not yet completely understood by the consumers.

The project focuses on understanding the E-Rickshaw ecosystem and its operational economics, business models, and adoption strategies in various Indian cities, and to further assess willingness to adopt E-Rickshaws, as well as respective passenger demand, to propose a business strategy, and analyse its financial feasibility and environmental benefits, along with necessary policy recommendations.
