AANGANWADI : A RURAL CHILD CARE CENTRE

As the title says, Anganwadi is a child care Centre in the rural regions of India. In this project we were supposed to design a classroom for the Anganwadi in a very small place in Dang, called Kalamvihir. The whole classroom was to be designed using Bamboo as a construction material. Triangulation as a concept is used in designing this structure. The basic form of the structure was to be taken from the lamps we designed initially. Some modifications were made in those designs to make the structure workable and also cost efficient.
