AGANWADI - courtyard shelter

Kalamvihir is a small Village/hamlet in Dang Taluka in Dang District of Gujarat State, India. It comes under Kalamvihir Panchayath. It is located 11 KM towards East from District head quarters Ahwa. 9 KM from Dang. 347 KM from State capital Gandhinagar. Total population is 1094 and number of houses are 210. Female Population is 50.9%. The village has one school nearby and 1 aganwadi which is not in a good condition and hence needs to be upgraded, for which locally available bamboo can be used.The anganwadi is a child care center which provides information and services in order to uplift the health and education of the children. The basic healthcare activities include regular health check-ups, nutrition education as well as pre-school activities. The progam should accomodate 50-55 children.
