Elements of Urban Design : Fragments of Urban design

The studio is structured as an introduction to the Elements of urban design representation and how it is used as a means of design thinking. The premise is that urban design is best understood and expressed through the study of fragments which are the basic elements of urban design and their representation of the urban built environment. Hence the studio focuses on the study and representation of the key urban elements in cities and is structured in multiple modules running through the semester, each culminates with outcome in the form of an exhibition to showcase our work publically.
