Women's entry and acceptance in public space is very limited and only acceptable if she has to perform a specific task. Women are unable to access majority of the public spaces just for leisure which results in the creation of gendered spaces. These gendered spaces more often tend to ignore the needs of women in public space in return restricting the usage of these spaces by women. Thus it becomes necessary to understand that the existing  spatial and social organizations  are both a  product and producer of gendered spaces.
