Angamaly is a town in Kerala forming the northernmost suburb of  Kochi. The town is often referred to as “the gateway” to Kochi and the study area is situated at the heart of Angamaly, at the intersection of National Highway and MC Road where all the major commercial activities take place. The portfolio focuses on analyzing the study area in terms of its spatial development and street network and aims at determining the factors that reflect the slow paced urbanization in the area. It also examines the various determinants that contribute to understanding connectivity and walkability of the area.
