Karnal, a city nestled in Tughlaq history as a prime area for expansion, to Mughals as the landmark for the Grand Trunk road today fights for its identity. A city once skyrocketing to its claim of fame today is restricted in choices but as is the beauty of the city, it still possesses great potential. The following documentation-studies the city of Karnal through various facets and the attempt is to try to establish what? the why? and the how? for the above-stated question. This study began with a singular focus on Karnal and then is compared to two other precincts.
