Kathriguppe is blend of commercial activities and residential layout in the South of Bengaluru. The 100 feet road also known as the outer ring road is a high traffic road consisting of commercial stores along. The junction of 80 feet road and the outer ring road which acts as the major landmark to the precincts. The green parks present in the precinct form the lungs of Kathriguppe. The inner roads adjoining to main roads gradually transform from commercial to a complete residential zone. Due to increase in influx of population the increase in apartments in recent years and mix of retail and non-retail building use has become the new trend. Kathriguppe has gone through a lot of development in terms of building typologies and land development which brings changes in property prices. The main aim is to decipher the evolution of the transformations which occurred over a period of time, within the largely planned city of Bengaluru in the 1 sq.km precinct.
