The portfolio summarises the key findings of urban morphology of the 1 sq. km area located in Vijay Nagar, Indore, through a rigorous analysis of elements of an urban setting. The gradual development and outgrowth of the area are explained through the identification of key determinants and interpretation of its footprint from the past. The overall study helps to infer the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the area by decoding layers like land use, building use, streets, public space, infrastructure, housing, and acknowledge the scope of future development.
