Mansarovar is a residential area situated in the southern part of Jaipur. The portfolio intends to understand the various characteristics that influence the development of the precinct 1 sq.km area , based on interpretation of satellite imagery, historical evolution, street network and built form. The precinct is well planned with proper road networks, green spaces, and also promotes walkability with smaller block sizes. Initially planned for residential use, Mansarovar is experiencing rapid increase in mixed land use on major roads. This is leading to a change in the urban fabric, increasing pressure on the available road width (i.e. parking problems).
