The portfolio aims to understand the urban characteristics of Meerut city by analyzing a precinct of 1 sq. km located in Ganga Nagar and identify the reasons which are making the area emerge as one of the most preferred localities in the city. It focuses on various elements and basic principles by conducting a detailed study of the area, a developing neighborhood in the northeastern part of the city, and analyzes various tangible and intangible aspects related to the evolution of the urban fabric, built form, density, ecology, publicness and preferences of people of the city.
