The project describes about the boons and banes if the development of an area is completely economic or market driven without any timely planning interventions. The implications of such fragmented development is larger at the city level. The implications at city level are tried to be analyzed based on various factors that effect the quality of life of the people in the city as well as are to be provided by the city. Concludes with trying to explain who is affected the most and why planning interventions are necessary.
