The following portfolio studies the urban aspects of Modi Nagar with respect to the land form and built
development and how connectivity helped in the development of the city which helps us understand
the present condition of the city. After the fall of the
Modi Empire, the industries soon started to close which led to people losing their jobs because of
which they started looking for employment opportunities in nearby cities.Modi Nagar is a city which has been transformed from an industrial city to an urban agglomeration. Over the years the city has
developed along the major Delhi-Meerut road and it also provided the needed economic support for
the development.
