Bhopal, Capital of Madhya Pradesh, combines scenic beauty, historicity and modern urban planning. The city is also known as the “City of Lakes” due to the number of manmade lakes. The precinct of Arera Colony is in the centre a bit south of the city. Arera Colony is near Habib Ganj Station and, M.P.Nagar which is the business district and have gone about as an impetus in the improvement of the area. The planned streets in Arera Colony are really walkable. The streets have trees on either side which make the road calm and quiet. Arera Colony is described by a variety of land use and built structures. The region has all social amenities at walkable distance.
