Mulund, the Gateway to Mumbai, is a planned suburban neighborhood in the eastern city of Mumbai. The portfolio summarizes and decodes the tangible and intangible aspects of Mulund and the overall city . The study focuses on analyzing the Built form, Road network, Infrastructure and the Lifestyle patterns through primary as well as secondary surveys. It further compares the precinct with an organically developed precinct in Thane and also with planned precincts of Tier 2 city ( Chennai) and Tier 3 city (Rajkot) with various elements of urban planning.
