As part of Foundation Studio, the students are assigned a municipality or area under higher tier of governance, nearest to our home. Within the given area of governance, one square kilometre area is selected as our precinct area. The area of study is located in Paravoor, Kollam. We have to have understanding on the social, cultural, economic, environmental and infrastructural condition of the area, as base study before we explore more of the same. This helps us in better understanding and analysis of the area and its characters.
