Towards a Catalytic-Resilient development of BAUDA

The Development plan studio 2020 focused on exploring through various methodologies and tools to understand the planning principals analyzing the existing scenarios and developing a plan for the overall functioning of a city .The process was carried out in two parts of a team of 16 memebers and  as a team of 4 members .As a team of 4 members the study and proposals were done with each person focussing on certain aspects of planning to propose the development plan for Bharuch-Ankleshwar as BAUDA.Various site visits and discussions with the Municipal,BAUDA,Industrial, GPCB authorities ad various developers and residents of the areas were conducted to understand the functioning and existing scenario of the twin cities of Bharuch and Ankleshwar under BAUDA.The development plan was worked on the basis of this understanding. The proposals were developed on the basis of the vision and planning principals considered, thus providing a robust road network, overall zoning for the year 2041 in 2 phases,DCRs, sector proposals developing policies under transportation,economy, housing, environment, infrastructure, heritage and thus calculated the overall costing required for the development. Few topics were covered with individual reflections and leading the works.
