An approach to Make Dwarka A regional Hub - TOD Model

The study area of Dwarka has city-wide connectivity majorly via the blue - Metro line. The area is in the South West of Delhi developing as a Sub-city forming a diplomatic enclave. The area is an envisioned Smart city with abundant social amenities and is one of the largest residential suburbs in Asia. Despite the huge potential, the TOD model is not being followed and the presence of a large unutilized plot reduces the social connectivity between the population residing there making the city unsafe for women.UERP studio aims to reconsider micro-level planning of Dwarka through local area plan to provide a planning vision that caters to the needs of the area to make Dwarka an active regional Hub.
