Dadar - From Gateway to Destination

Dadar, the most critical link in the transportation system of Mumbai, has a rich history since the pre-independence era. It is one of the first planned residential suburb of India which due to negligence is on the verge of becoming yet about haphazardly developed suburb.A Local Area Plan is therefore envisioned with an aim to integrate the transit routes while retaining the character of the existing precinct and transform Dadar from a Gateway to a Destination.
