The studio focused on micro-level planning in the green-field as well as the brown-field areas. It added to the learnings of ‘Development Plan Studio’ by identifying suitable development models and mechanisms for a successful implementation. Sites were selected in cities across India, and micro-level planning mechanisms, such as TPS and LAP, were used for land reconstitution, land pooling, etc. The studio emphasized analysis and implications of the existing situation, assessment of potentials of the site, and identifying funding mechanisms. The exercises were aimed at understanding the institutional frameworks for the micro-level planning mechanisms and assessing development feasibility within various conditions.
