Local Area Plan for Dadar: From Node to a Destination
Mumbai - one of India’s largest cities and financial hub - is facing grave urban issues such as grossly overloaded public transport systems, failing infrastructure and rising unaffordability. Through the Local Area Plan mechanism, the studio aimed to address these issues for Dadar, the heart of Mumbai. The LAP comprises of planning, policy and project-based proposals to manifest the vision of a commercial transit centre in Dadar - making it a Live-Work-Shop-Play destination for South Mumbai.
