local Area Plan for Dadar, Mumbai

Mumbai is India's most densely populated urban area. Dadar is one of the important nodes in Mumbai with multiple modes of transportation. Connecting all three modes of transportation was the driving concept for this LAP which then evolved with the Street Network and TOD approach for zoning. Dadar also holds a cultural and heritage importance in Mumbai. With growing population and need of redevelopment, Dadar faces a threat to it's cultural values therefor building regulations were proposed to protect existing structures and mindful future development.
