Manipur : A Peri Urban Hybrid Node

Manipur area is located in the western fringe of Ahmedabad (AUDA) with an immense development potential. This TP Scheme aimed at developing it as a Peri-Urban Hybrid node looking at its present and probable future needs. Proposals of DFC towards west of the site in DP 2021, presence of industrial estates and institutions in and around the site, number of water bodies in the near vicinity and Narmada canal which bifurcates our site, presence of AMTS route and BRTS proposal in DP2021 are some of the key features supporting our vision. Scheme is proposed in a way that creates equity for all land owners as well as the authority. 
Overall, it was a process which helped understand the entire TP scheme mechanism starting from the analysis of existing situation, preparation of zonal level plan and lastly the TP Scheme by reconstitution including special project proposals, framing the DCRs, valuation, costing and revenue.
