The Town Planning Scheme explores the vision of developing the urbanizing areas of Sargasan and Kudasan of Gandhinagar, as a well connected, livable, station area junction by promoting inclusive intensity-based growth emphasizing last-mile connectivity. The TPS facilitates the potential market scenario of the upcoming Metro corridor and the station area by creating a dedicated NMT network, integrated with the existing motorways offering seamless connectivity and higher accessibility. It also explores non-conventional approaches to achieve equity by adapting zone wise appropriation, incremental factorization, and sale component as a major source of revenue.
