Town Planning Scheme- Ghanteshwar & Parapipaliya, Rajkot

The UERP studio dealt with the aspects of microplanning in both greenfield and brownfield areas of an urban agglomerate. This publication documents the author’s vision for the Ghanteshwar & Parapipaliya area of Rajkot. We have attempted a non-conventional approach of planning, where-in we have successfully carved out a city-wide recreational amenity through multiple Town planning Schemes. The detailed iterative processes that we went through for the past 4 months have been shortened into a crisp yet impactful narrative that should give an idea about the processes and various aspects that go into the making of a Town Planning Scheme.
