Theatrics of Exchange

Pre-digitization, the activity in the stock exchange was almost theatrical; the changing energy of the space reflecting the fluctuating market - from euphoric to grim and vice versa. The loud high energy atmosphere almost resembled an auction floor; with people shouting over each other to get the best bid. With closure of old trading floors post digitization, there is a sense of loss-a void. The idea is to reinterpret this lost old trading floor of the stock exchange and try to revive the concept and feeling of that pulsating high energy space into contemporary Ahmedabad Stock Exchange.
