The concept behind the design
of the bus stop is the idea of
customization to the level of
modularity. The shelter plays
with the idea of division of
activities into constants and
variables according to the
requirements of the site. After thoroughly studying the
three sites, their land use pattern and design, existing street
conditions were identified, the
major problems were analyzed
and some common street
design strategies were developed to tackle the problems. Zoning of all streets was done to provide parking, buffer green spaces with seating and proper paved space for vendors.
