The project explores facility management challenges of a government institute, which is more than 150 years old. Government Maharaja P.G. College is located in the city of Chhatarpur in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. The project has an area of 1,40,590 sq.m. The site is situated in the center of the city and has proximity to all basic services and amenities within a radius of 2 Km. The project site is very old and because of varied reasons like old built infrastructure, negligence, acceptance, and lack of awareness we found a lot of areas striving to maintain their identity. Major issues which we found on the premises are water supply negligence, wastewater management, parking, fire safety, toilets, building infrastructure, student well-being, and community building. The ‘Vision’ is to have a sustainable future wrapped up in the colors of history and authenticity. Through the proposals, we tried bridging the gaps, which we found on the premises.
