Gail Gaon is an Industrial township setup by GAIL (India) Ltd in 1996 to supplement housing to the workforce of petrochemical plant. Spread across the area of one-hundred-twelve hectare, the township marks for adequate living space with open areas, pedestrian pathways, and protected surroundings for the employees of GAIL and their families. It is divided into twenty-five subdivisions- “Kunjs”, which have approximately one-thousand-two-hundred dwelling units.
