Lucknow is divided into two parts by Gomti River, Trans Gomti and Cis Gomti. Trans Gomti is that part of the city which is more developed and has less population as compared to the Cis Gomti area which is known as the ‘old Lucknow’. The site comes under Cis Gomti part of Lucknow. The name of the site is ‘Rajajipuram’ which comes under Lucknow Nagar Nigam.
