'The Meander' - High Density Housing in 2040

The project is a high density housing complex in GIFT City, outside Ahmedabad. A few inevitable shifts that would affect the nature of housing by 2040 were taken into account, along with the challenge of achieving an FSI of 5.4. The project attempts to reminisce the language of streets and plazas of Ahmedabad, as GIFT Complex is a neighborhood without a past. The major shifts considered were the deteriorating social lifestyle, need for a microclimate, change in family patterns, need for flexibility and co-working; all of which were attempted to be resolved in the project at different scales.
