Kitta is an A-line bamboo easel designed for artists to use as upright support while painting. Inspired by the Japanese bamboo pen, the easel is made of hollow bamboo which is lightweight, portable and sturdy in nature. The rawness of bamboo enhances the form and aesthetics of the product. It is foldable in nature making it easy to store or carry. The easel has a moveable crossbar connected with two rubber braids that slide across the front legs on which a canvas is rested at any preferred height. The stretchable nature of rubber braids allows them to fit and slide around the conical shape of bamboo. They can be locked using a bamboo cord at any height. The tripod form of the easel makes it stale while using.
