Inhabiting

We perceive space through our senses and that forms the experience. And our experience of any space defines the particular space for us if it is a space for Solitude, Intimacy, or Congregation. To convert an Experience ( Intangible) into a Space (Tangible) is the process of design. This project has developed over multiple stages. My old childhood home was replaced by a 6m deep pit which first held my secret place with small space for solitude, intimacy and congregation, then turned into my new childhood home for five members and further grew into a display gallery and art workshop.
