Facade System for Visual Comfort_Biomimetics

Biomimetics emulates natural systems which can solve complex problems.  The studio aims to decipher the logic embedded within the natural systems ­ to develop interior architectural systems.The project deals with the composite climate of Delhi, which proposes to improve the visual comfort of an office building. The shading device is optimized via point in time analysis of the extreme seasons to maximize daylight penetration and outdoor views yet minimize glare. The skin serves as a dynamic facade that is computed to serve efficiency with visual comfort to the occupants.
