Snow Retention Facade System

Biomimetics is the field of science in which inspirations are drawn from nature to design practical materials and systems that can imitate structure and function of native biological systems. The purpose of this project was to do an extensive study of the formation, structure and function of biologically produced systems and utilize it or for in the interiors of a building to improve the functionality of the said space.

We had conducted a series of experiments to develop modules, iterate and explorethem and arrive at an optimized system that could resolve the functionality of the space.
