Intricacy and Articulation

The site is based in Siliguri besides a river and amidst the lush green tea gardens. The resort - Vatika Homes is designed with a concept of Articulation and craftmanship. Intricate, articulated crafts is what I saw and observed and took back with me as a take away from the contextual study. Pattachitra is taken as an inspiration and the details of this art form are incorporated in the various layers of interiors in different forms i.e. carving, flooring, textile and upholstery, structural members etc.
