SURYAAVARAN

The structure aims to not only give a shelter to spaces like balconies, but also provides energy by solar panels attached in it. The name itself suggests this as, 'Surya' means Sun and 'Aavaran' means covering. The structure is entirely cantilevered and works based on a system of pulleys which is controlled by motors. This structure was inspired by the Kiel Horn Bridge in Germany.
