Aarambh

Located in Ahmedabad, ‘Aarambh’ aims at creating a space that is welcoming for entrepreneurs to brainstorm and expand their ideas. The design of the Innovation Lab revolves around the idea of creating a stepping section that involves the play of plinths and a series of courtyards at various levels. The flat site has been shaped as stepping downwards towards the lowermost level along with which the spaces open up gradually at various levels creating an experiential journey. Transparency and Interaction between spaces have been achieved by designing courtyards, light wells and terraces which also act as buffer spaces. A conscious effort has been made in keeping the living and working blocks separate yet linked together.
