The compartment silo consists of Two compartments dividing by compartment wall having flat bottom.
The problem I have tackled that how compartment silo behaves under different load cases of stored material. The given Chimney was about to analyze the chimney of height 110 m and provide an economical solution for the design period of 50 years.
This warehouse is consisted of 183 x 76 m plan dimension having varying ridge height. The challenge is to design a portal frame for six cranes with different capacity.
Wind load analysis for dead load, live load and crane load is done to understand behavior of structure.
