Industrial Structures are the backbone of the economy of the country. All
manufacturing processes, transportation, Storage, etc. are done through various
industrial structures like Transfer Tower, Pipe racks, Crusher houses, Conveyer
galleries, etc. Industrial structures must be designed for wind and earthquake
analysis as they are important structures.
Chimneys, as we all know today, are hollow, tall, and slender vertical structures that
carry smoke or steam away from a fire or engine at a high enough elevation so that after
dilution due to atmospheric turbulence, their concentration and that of their entrained
solid particulates is within acceptable limits on reaching the ground.Storing bulk materials in bunkers and silos is essential to agricultural, mineral processing, and other industries. Silos and bunkers may serve for either long-term or short-term storage. Both are used for intermediate storage of finished and raw products. The present-day agricultural and cement industries invariably opt for a single or a battery of silos to store the agricultural products or manufactured cement respectively.
