KARIGARI - Institute for Art & Design

The project 'KARIGARI' is situated within the periphery of the Ravalnagar community. Their lies, Mata Ni Pachedi artists community the Chitara Family in the middle of the urban patch. The goal of the Institute initiative is to provide a platform for the Chitara Family and the art form they practice to be uplifted and encouraged. The institute mainly looks for artists to learn, share, experience the making of the art with the Chitara family at their very own ground. The intervention creates the structure of a well-curated course which leads to exhibition and auction of the same, allowing the family to expand and grow, giving the city a new corridor to experience.
