Kumbh Kutumb - Moulding Experiences

Kumbh Kutumb is a humble project that provides a platform to the Prajapatis of Adalaj to showcase their skills in pottery and idol making. It is designed with a sense of visual and physical permeability with the community. The interventions are created with metal and terracotta to combine the rigidity of containers and the fluidity of clay.It is an exhibition based program allowing visitors to observe and experience various processes. A curated retail space allowing the community to expand their product line, a studio for conducting workshops and a multi-use courtyard come together, to give tourists visiting Adalaj newer experiences.
