Rural- urban migration linked to problems of unemployment and the social adaptation of migrants in their new urban context. The footpaths of the city have witnessed this effect first hand with numerous people setting up hawker stalls and occupying the space to earn a basic daily wage The architectural intervention aims to influence the lives of migrants by providing a space that inspires individuals to share their knowledge with others as well as acquire skills in a variety of other crafts that can be showcased in a multi-purpose public space/platform space that generates revenue and boosts economic growth.
